Gamification🕹 and user engagement free tools made by a creative web developer
In this post I am going to introduce you a very creative web developer who has nice ideas and has made some very useful tools. Two of them are javascript libraries great for adding gamification to your website and engaging your users. Let’s see what I have hunted this week.
I have actually browsed their website everyday since I hunted those useful tools.
I am talking about Maximillian Laumeister, you can visit their website and from the first moment you’ll find out it is one of those beautiful simple websites that we, Bear bloggers and Small web fans, like and appreciate.
Let me mention how cute 👆those simple drawings in their website are and they are also inspirational in terms of web design.

These two tools attracted me the first time I visited their projects page And these are actually my favorite ones:

Collectibles.js
In the amazing Collectible.js tool, you create and spread some keys (or any other 🗝🧸 image you define) on your web pages and invite your users to find them. It is fun. It is like the “Easter egg hunting”🥚🥚🥚 but colorful ones😅

Achievements.js
The Achievements.js is a really cool tool which can motivate users to complete tasks the website owner defines like:

☑️Visit 5 unique pages
🔲Read 5 blog posts
🔲 Sign up on newsletter

☑️Write something on Saman’s guestbook please :)
🔲And so on...
🎉🎁🎊 You may give users a “Congrats” message for collecting all the keys or for completing the tasks. Or even promise and give them something more motivational like an ebook or etc as a reward.

I really like the “👾Gamification” topic personally. I have researched and watched lots of youtube videos in this topic (I will write an article about the best gamification teacher I know in future).
